# Umami

Canonical: https://inetgeek.com/analytics/umami/

Open-source web and product analytics with no cookies, available as a self-hosted app or as Umami Cloud, priced by monthly events.

## Who it suits

A site that wants open-source analytics it can self-host for free or buy as a managed service. Pro is $20 a month for up to 20 websites and two years of data, and the free Hobby plan covers one website and 100K events a month.

Consider something else if You think in pageviews rather than events. Umami counts each pageview as one event and each saved event property as another, so a million events buys fewer than a million pageviews. Umami Cloud servers are in the US and the EU with no region promised; Plausible and Pirsch both state EU or German hosting.

## iScore

66 / 100 (80% interval 59–73), rank 2 of 9 in analytics — interval overlaps the next rank, so this is an ordering, not a finding.

inetGeek's own reading, computed from sourced facts against category peers by disclosed rules. Not a provider claim. Intervals are 80%; a provider with few documented facts is pulled toward the category middle rather than scored on what little is known.
Read this score with care:
- Documented but not scored, because the page states it as text with no comparable number or a yes/limited/no (a one-time, usage-based or other-vendor price, or a per-site choice): gdpr_data_residency. Read them on the provider page; the score neither rewards nor penalises what it could not compare.
