# Mintlify

Canonical: https://inetgeek.com/docs-platforms/mintlify/

Hosted documentation platform that publishes developer docs and API references from Markdown and OpenAPI files in a Git repository, with an AI assistant and MCP server.

## Who it suits

A team that wants docs and an API reference built from Markdown, MDX and OpenAPI files in a git repository, with an AI assistant, llms.txt and an MCP server, at a flat price per account rather than per seat. Pro is $540 a month billed monthly with unlimited editors; the free Starter plan allows five.

Consider something else if You want SDKs generated from the same spec. Mintlify shows SDK code samples and points to Speakeasy for the SDKs themselves, where Fern generates them. The AI assistant is a Pro feature and is not on the free plan.

## iScore

79 / 100 (80% interval 71–87), rank 6 of 10 in docs-platforms — interval overlaps the next rank, so this is an ordering, not a finding.

inetGeek's own reading, computed from sourced facts against category peers by disclosed rules. Not a provider claim. Intervals are 80%; a provider with few documented facts is pulled toward the category middle rather than scored on what little is known.
