# Redocly

Canonical: https://inetgeek.com/docs-platforms/redocly/

API documentation platform that publishes reference docs from OpenAPI, GraphQL and AsyncAPI descriptions, with Markdown pages and Git-based workflows.

## Where the vendor's own pages disagree

Redocly's security page says SAML single sign-on is an Enterprise feature; its pricing page marks SAML and OIDC single sign-on as included on Scale and Enterprise. No value is recorded until the vendor settles which plan carries it.

- “SSO Enterprise SAML2 or OpenID connect with domain verification.” (https://redocly.com/security, read 2026-10-25)
- “SSO (SAML and OIDC) – Not included Included Included” (https://redocly.com/pricing, read 2026-10-25)

## Who it suits

An API reference built from OpenAPI, GraphQL or AsyncAPI descriptions with Git workflows, at one flat price with unlimited seats and readers: Pro is $249 a month billed annually for three projects, with a 30-day trial.

Consider something else if You want a standing free plan, which Redocly does not list. Its AI assistant, MCP server and SDK generation are beta or early access, and its security and pricing pages disagree on which plan includes SAML SSO.

## iScore

68 / 100 (80% interval 60–77), rank 10 of 10 in docs-platforms — interval overlaps the next rank, so this is an ordering, not a finding.

inetGeek's own reading, computed from sourced facts against category peers by disclosed rules. Not a provider claim. Intervals are 80%; a provider with few documented facts is pulled toward the category middle rather than scored on what little is known.
Read this score with care:
- Trust and compliance is thin: 0 of 1 criteria are scored, so it sits near the category middle with a wide interval (56–69). Read the interval, not the point.
- Documented but not scored, because the page states it as text with no comparable number or a yes/limited/no (a one-time, usage-based or other-vendor price, or a per-site choice): minimum_paid_price. Read them on the provider page; the score neither rewards nor penalises what it could not compare.
