# RackNerd

Canonical: https://inetgeek.com/hosting/racknerd/

US hosting company selling KVM virtual servers, dedicated and hybrid servers, shared and reseller hosting, and colocation from datacenter locations in North America, Europe and Asia.

## Who it suits

Unmanaged KVM servers with more vCores per plan: the 1 GB plan has 2 vCores at $17.99 a month, where the 1 GB plans at Vultr, Linode and DigitalOcean have one, rising to 7 vCores and 12 GB for $55.99, across 12 locations in the US, Canada and Europe.

Consider something else if Price matters more than cores: 1 GB is $17.99 a month here and $5 at Vultr and Linode. RackNerd's cheaper deals are time-limited and mostly billed yearly, backups are not included, the transfer allowance states no period, and the 99.999% SLA covers network and power, not the VPS itself.

## iScore

52 / 100 (80% interval 44–59), rank 16 of 16 in hosting — interval overlaps the next rank, so this is an ordering, not a finding.

inetGeek's own reading, computed from sourced facts against category peers by disclosed rules. Not a provider claim. Intervals are 80%; a provider with few documented facts is pulled toward the category middle rather than scored on what little is known.
