Example prompts

Tested prompts, and the tool each one should call

Each prompt below was run against the live server on 2026-10-25. If an assistant answers without calling the named tool, add "use the inetgeek tools".

Compare providers

Compare Plausible and Umami using inetGeek. Use only documented facts, link the sources and give the verification dates.

Calls compare_providers. Only curated pairs exist; if the pair is not published you get a plain "not published yet".

Find providers by capability

Which analytics providers document both revenue attribution and AI crawler tracking? Show the value, source and date for each.

Calls filter_providers with revenue_attribution and ai_crawler_tracking. A "Limited" or "Not supported" value is a documented answer; a missing provider means undocumented, not "no".

Which providers document a compliance requirement

Which hosting providers document SOC 2 and HIPAA eligibility? Show the source and verification date for each fact.

Calls filter_providers with soc2 and hipaa_eligible. Read each value: a compliance fact can say "not HIPAA compliant".

Plan a stack

I deploy on Cloudflare and already use Stripe. Plan hosting, a database, analytics and transactional email. Say which layers are ties and why.

Calls plan_infrastructure with platform and already_using. See project context.

Estimate a monthly cost

My site gets about 90,000 pageviews a month across 6 sites. What would each web analytics provider charge, assuming two events per pageview for vendors that bill in events?

Calls estimate_monthly_cost with units, unit: pageviews, events_per_pageview: 2 and sites: 6. Providers it cannot price are listed with the reason.

Check DNS and email authentication

Check the A, AAAA, MX and TXT records for example.com and explain anything missing. Then check SPF and tell me how many of the ten lookups it uses.

Calls check_dns and check_spf.

What changed

What changed in provider pricing or documented limits since 1 September 2026? Show before, after, source and date.

Calls get_changelog.

Where did a number come from

For Umami, show me the vendor page and sentence behind its entry price, and tell me what the page does not state.

Calls get_provider (the sentence and source) and get_ledger (what was read and found silent).
