get_provider
Get a provider fact sheet — read-only
The full sourced fact sheet for one infrastructure provider — pricing, limits and regions, each with a source URL and the date it was last verified against that source — plus its iScore with interval, rank and per-pillar breakdown (see get_provider_score for the criterion-level basis). Use search_infrastructure first if you don't know the exact category/slug.
This tool is read-only.
Arguments
| Argument | Type | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
category | string | yes | The URL section the provider publishes under — one of "hosting", "gpu", "databases", "storage", "caching", "vector-db", "data-api", "federation", "auth", "email", "queues", "payments", "cdn", "observability", "ci-cd", "secrets-mgmt", "analytics", "llm-apis", "search", "dns-hosting", "kubernetes", "iac", "backup", "api-gateway", "load-balancing", "realtime", "waf", "data-warehouse", "etl", "media", "sms", "streaming", "feature-flags", "incident-management", "finops", "docs-platforms", "ztna", "model-hosting". Note the five hosting sub-types (paas, vps-cloud, …) all publish under "hosting"; list_categories shows which. |
slug | string | yes | e.g. "neon", "vercel", "cloudflare-r2" |

# Umami
Canonical: https://inetgeek.com/analytics/umami/
Open-source web and product analytics with no cookies, available as a self-hosted app or as Umami Cloud, priced by monthly events.
## Who it suits
A site that wants open-source analytics it can self-host for free or buy as a managed service. Pro is $20 a month for up to 20 websites and two years of data, and the free Hobby plan covers one website and 100K events a month.
Consider something else if You think in pageviews rather than events. Umami counts each pageview as one event and each saved event property as another, so a million events buys fewer than a million pageviews. Umami Cloud servers are in the US and the EU with no region promised; Plausible and Pirsch both state EU or German hosting.
## iScore
65 / 100 (80% interval 58–73), rank 2 of 11 in analytics — interval overlaps the next rank, so this is an ordering, not a finding.
inetGeek's own reading, computed from sourced facts against category peers by disclosed rules. Not a provider claim. Intervals are 80%; a provider with few documented facts is pulled toward the category middle rather than scored on what little is known.
