Projects that want the largest permanent free monthly allowance with no card at signup — 6,000 emails a month, and both SMTP relay and API available on it.
Consider something else if…
Sending is bursty. The 200-a-day sub-cap constrains the monthly 6,000 far more than the headline suggests, and paid plans are sized by volume rather than features.
