Who it suits

Apps deployed from a Git repository or a container image where a flat per-container price is easier to reason about than usage metering — $5 a month buys 1 shared vCPU, 512 MiB and 50 GiB of bandwidth.

Consider something else if…

The free tier covers static sites only, three apps with no running service, and autoscaling is listed only against the dedicated container sizes — a small service scales by hand or not at all.
